Gabriel Garcia

My Story

Gabriel Garcia was born and raised in Guatemala city, he came to the US for a music degree at Southwestern Baptist in 2010. He grew up speaking Spanish, English and German with his family. Prior to playing with Maxwell Hall Jazz Band, Gabriel played with the Lovers Lane Jazz Big Band, Joshua Experience, Fort Worth and Arlington Community Bands. He performed at the Carnegie Hall, NY as part of Southwestern’s Master Chorale in 2012. Gabriel has been working in the investments and retirement industry for several companies. Gabriel enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. He has three dogs and loves good coffee.
