My Story
Soprano Sax, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, and Clarinet
A native of Buffalo, New York, has been playing reed instruments over 50 years. He enjoys playing a wide range of music from Trad Jazz, swing, big band jazz, 50’s rock-n-roll, rockabilly, to jump blues. He has recorded on Pat Green’s “Carry On” album produced by Grammy winning producer Lloyd Maines, and backed up Rock and Roll legends Roddy Jackson and Lloyd Price at Viva Las Vegas. In addition to Just Jazz, Doug currently plays in the Maxwell Hall Jazz band and freelances with other groups in the DFW area.
